Since participating in the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, HP has introduced a series of new product innovations marking the software firm as a pioneer. The latest UAE release from the American giant in April was the world’s first leather convertible personal computer—the Spectre Folio.
With clear priority placed on the product’s craftsmanship, the designed hardware on this PC features 100% chromed tan, full-grain leather. Its durable material provides a natural hinge and flexible chassis to enable a breakthrough new form factor. Available in cognac brown and Bordeaux burgundy, the Spectre Folio is setting new benchmarks for the industry by offering options away from the traditionally dull grey tones of PCs.
Besides integrating aesthetics into technology, the functional elements of weight and storage specifications have also been addressed. Incorporating one of the smallest motherboards in the industry, the Spectre Folio capitalizes on eight-generation Intel® Core™ i5/Intel® Core™ i7 processors, providing up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of SSD storage, Starting from AED 8,099.
Building on the success of the multifunctional laptop and tablet model, this new addition to the HP range is designed primarily for specific productivity tasks or scenarios. With up to 18 hours of battery life, the new PC will allow on-the-go users to enjoy being mobile with no hassle to be connected to a power outlet.
As the world’s first-gigabit class LTE laptop with an Intel® Core™ processor, this product indicates HP’s commitment to providing better security measures.
“HP continues to create the world’s most exciting devices that are leading the PC category into a new era of innovation,” says Georges Rouppas, Country Category Manager PS Middle East, KSA and Turkey. “By listening to the needs of our customers and leveraging our design and engineering capabilities, HP is setting new benchmarks for the industry.”
It is this relentless drive to reinvent technology to current consumer demands and challenge the traditional archetype that has contributed to HP’s presence on the 2019 Forbes World’s Most Valuable Brands list.
