It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Among its subsidiaries are Akam, Yadoum, Azyat, and Electa. In July 2023, SIRC and the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) signed an agreement to recycle more than 150,000 tons of cow waste annually.
