A marriage proposal planning agency based in France is planning to start offering elaborate marriage proposals that take place in space.
The agency, which is known as The ApoteoSurprise, will begin offering a special service for couples in 2022 where they will be able to propose marriage while flying over the moon's surface. The interplanetary flight is meant to last for one week and will reportedly cost $145 million.
Before this romantic space expedition can commence, however, the couple must go through medical exams and a physical condition assessment after which there will be a rigorous twelve weeks of technical and physical training. According to The ApoteoSurprise, the couple must first experience cardio training sessions, training in a centrifuge, acclimation to microgravity through a series of parabolic flights, acclimation to high accelerations and speed changes as well as attend a complete presentation of the spaceship and of the flight schedule, stress management strategies and emergency simulations.
On the day of travel, the couple will be taken to a self-contained and autonomous spacecraft which will take off from the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral in Florida, U.S.A.
The spacecraft is set to travel at a speed of up to 38,000 km/h and will be equipped with eight cameras in order to visually document the experience of the engagement for the couple.
