Families of Arab origin have created some of the largest private fortunes outside of the Middle East. Unlike families based in Arab countries, these diaspora dynasties operate from Mexico, France and Brazil. The top three families have a combined wealth exceeding $177.2 billion, according to Forbes, as of May 6, 2026.
