<p class="MsoNormal">Egypt, the world's second largest wheat importer, has reported that it has been successful in producing four million tons of wheat in 2020, in a bid to becoming self-suffiecient. This was sparked by the conditions created by COVID-19 that made it difficult for the region to have easy access to external resources with transportation and freight facing restrictions internationally. </p>
