Former Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday warned that the window for establishing artificial intelligence safety rules was rapidly closing and urged countries, including the U.S. and China, to cooperate on addressing emerging AI risks, even as President Donald Trump has framed AI development as a must-win race against Beijing.
