Egypt's Public Prosecution ordered the pretrial detention of the chairman of Global Paradigm International School in New Cairo after he allegedly used parents' national ID cards, submitted for student enrollment, to take out $6.3 million (EGP 321 million) in consumer finance contracts in their names without their knowledge.
