Kuwait has reported a $2.25 billion (KWD 682 million) budget deficit in the nine-month period between April and December 2021, according to a report by the country's Ministry of Finance. The GCC country achieved total revenues of $42.7 billion, while its expenses and liabilities amounted to $45.17 billion.
