Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) has secured financial close with Spanish renewable energy giant Iberdrola for the 1.4-gigawatt (GW) East Anglia Three offshore wind project in the UK, with total project costs estimated at $6.1 billion (EUR 5.2 billion).
