China's ride-hailing firm DiDi Global reported Wednesday a net income of $238.4 million (RMB 1.7 billion) in the second quarter of 2024, more than tripling profits from the loss reported in the year-ago period as the Chinese giant continues to build its business back after being hit by a regulatory crackdown.
