<p class="MsoNormal">The US has sanctioned Lebanon’s former energy and foreign minister Gebran Bassil—a known leader of political party Free Patriotic Movement (FPM)—over “his role in corruption” in the country, the US Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced on Friday. </p>
