OQEP is Oman’s largest pure-play oil and gas exploration and production company, and the only upstream operator owned by the government. The company manages 14 upstream oil and gas assets across Oman, with nine currently producing. Revenues reached $1.7 billion in the first nine months of 2025, driven by the expansion of the Bisat-C facilities at Block 60, commissioned in June 2025. In November 2025, OQEP with its partner, Oxy signed natural gas sales agreement with the Integrated Gas Company to supply gas from Block 65, in which OQEP holds a 49% interest share.
