Al Ghardaqa is an Emirati Diplomat and Senior Legal Advisor to the COP28 Presidency and the U.A.E. Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was among the youngest senior officials within the COP28 Presidency’s leadership. He leads national negotiations on climate and governance under the UNFCCC and other forums, and serves as the primary advisor to the U.A.E. Board Member on the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD). He is also President of the Arab Youth Council for Climate Change and a member of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council.
