Esraa, Lama, and Walaa Khushaim – who is over 30 – cofounded Gees, a femtech startup developing a handheld, multiplexed, saliva-based hormone monitoring device that helps women manage PCOS through at-home hormone tracking. They have completed market research, built the prototype, and are now undergoing clinical validation. The team is preparing a paid pilot with Saudi clinics and at-home bloodwork providers within the next 12 months. Gees is licensing U.S. patents from KAUST covering the multiplexed device.
