Mahmoud, together with his brother Mohamed (now in his 30s), founded ROA and exited successfully in an undisclosed deal with Nawy in January 2025. He then rebranded it as Nawy Unlocked, which prepares properties into ready-to-rent spaces and is now one of Nawy’s business lines. Nawy Unlocked has contracted over 40,000 sqm of idle assets for income generation and aims to reach over 7,000 units in the next five years. In May 2025, Nawy closed a $75 million Series A equity and debt round.
