Haj-Tamim is the Founder and CEO of Avionova, a medtech startup developing non-invasive, cooling-based wearable devices to support vestibular stability and comfort for individuals with motion-related imbalance. The device is scheduled for testing on an upcoming HALO Space mission in Saudi Arabia, with clinical validation currently being developed in partnership with The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center. Avionova has secured $234,500 in non-dilutive funding from Techstars, the Jumpstart HealthTech Accelerator, and other sources. Haj-Tamim also founded and serves as Executive Director of Jordan Student Space Outreach and Academic Relations (JSSOAR), a nonprofit dedicated to expanding STEM and aerospace opportunities.
