The duo cofounded Yogi, a yogurt manufacturing facility, in early 2023 following the war in Sudan. They rehabilitated an abandoned dairy factory in Al Qadarif, now processing nearly three metric tons of milk daily from local herders and distributing through 100 retailers and shops. Yogi has secured approximately $160,000 in grants from AECF, Microfinanznia, and Tadamon Accelerator. They recently added a new revenue stream by deploying solar-powered refrigerated fridges on a subscription model for retailers distributing their products.
