Sheta joined Schneider Electric in 1994 and assumed his current role in November 2021. In October 2024, Schneider Electric also opened a new office in Msheireb Downtown Doha in Qatar and launched a new manufacturing facility in Sharjah. As of February 2025, Schneider Electric's plant in Badr City in Egypt exports over 40% of its production to 35 countries, including Saudi Arabia, France, Algeria, Kenya, and Uganda. Sheta is a member of the U.A.E. Committee of French Trade Advisors.
