Varghese has been with Oracle since 2007 and stepped into his current role in 2021. In April 2025, Oracle partnered with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the National eLearning Center to train 50,000 Saudis in AI and digital skills through the Mostaqbali program. In January 2025, Oracle and the Dubai Business Women Council launched sAIdaty 2025, the second phase of a program that has already trained 500 U.A.E. women in AI and now aims to expand into advanced applications, entrepreneurship, and digital strategies. In August 2024, Oracle opened its second public cloud region in Riyadh as part of a $1.5 billion investment to expand cloud infrastructure capabilities in the kingdom.
