Ayik joined HP in 1997 and assumed his current position in 2022, overseeing operations across 75 countries. In February 2025, HP launched a manufacturing facility in Riyadh, as part of the ‘Saudi Made’ initiative. It is also establishing an AI R&D center of excellence in Dhahran. In the same month, it collaborated with UNDP and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation and launched a six-month bootcamp to support young Emiratis with technical and entrepreneurial skills for careers in the gaming industry.
