Ventricelli joined Philips in 1996 and was appointed CEO of Philips Middle East and Türkiye in 2020. His role was expanded to include Africa from January 2021. In September 2024, Philips, in collaboration with Malaffi, enabled full imaging connectivity in Abu Dhabi, making 100% of all X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds accessible to physicians via the Philips Image Exchange Solution. In October 2024, it signed an MoU with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and M42’s ADHDS to integrate AI tools for identifying abnormalities in medical images. Ventricelli previously held leadership roles across Italy and Central & Eastern Europe.
