Futnani was appointed the general manager of Specialty Care in the GCC in 2024 and assumed her current position in 2025, having joined Sanofi in 2017. In 2024, the company recorded over 40% growth in specialty care. General medicines and vaccines each also recorded double-digit growth, driven by expanded access, lifecycle management, and public sector collaboration. In the same year, Sanofi formalized new collaborations with the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait Ministries of Health in respiratory, dermatology, COPD, and chronic disease management. In October 2024, Sanofi signed an insulin local manufacturing agreement with Sudair Pharma Company and National Unified Procurement Company.
