Griffiths joined Dubai Airports as CEO in 2007. Dubai Airports owns and manages the operation and development of Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC). DXB recorded 92.3 million guests in 2024, making it the busiest airport globally for international traffic for the 11th consecutive year, according to Airports Council International. As of May 2025, DXB served over 260 destinations in 105 countries through more than 100 international airlines. Griffiths previously served as managing director of Gatwick Airport and executive director of commercial at Virgin Trains and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
