Al Hammadi has been in his current role since 2008. The Abu Dhabi Aviation Group is a commercial helicopter operator with a fleet of 74 aircraft and nine companies within it, including civilian and military maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities, and five simulators. In 2024, the group announced consolidated revenues of nearly $2 billion. In March 2025, it partnered with Archer Aviation to launch the first global deployment of the Midnight eVTOL aircraft from Abu Dhabi. Al Hammadi is also vice chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports
