In 2024, Agthia joined the U.A.E. Alliance for Climate Action and has since tested electric and biodiesel trucks in its supply chain, achieving a 90% CO₂ reduction in EV trials. Agthia achieved a 6.3% reduction in CO₂ emissions and collected 1,128 tons of plastic through RECAPP. It also implemented heat-sensitive PET resin technology to improve energy efficiency, saving 343,392 kWh, while increasing solar use to 14% at Al Bayan, U.A.E., and 8% at Alpin Türkiye. Last year, 95.4% of Agthia’s packaging was recyclable or reusable, and 38% of materials came from recycled content. Alameri joined the company in 2020 and has been in his current role since June 2025.
