In February 2025, Pure Harvest and South Korea-based PlanTFarm launched a multi-use vertical smart farm at the Al Ain production campus. The campus integrates AI-powered climate control and propagation systems to enable commercial production of Korean strawberry varieties, leafy and micro-greens, and locally grown animal fodder. It also invests in R&D for plant propagation to supply Pure Harvest’s greenhouses with healthy young plants using up to 95% less water per kilogram than conventional methods. Kurtz cofounded Pure Harvest Farms in 2017.
