Sobha Realty held emissions intensity steady in 2024 despite 141% construction area growth, cutting 1,800 tons of CO₂ through low-carbon cement, lowering freshwater use by 16%, and diverting 5% more waste from landfill. Renewables supplied 6% of Sobha’s operations via solar PV, biodiesel, and site electrification. Sobha Modular, a Sobha entity, recycled 1,100 tons of plastic and gypsum waste, while Sobha Constructions diverted 4.6 tons of PPE waste and added EVs to its fleet. Menon joined in 2004 and became Chairman in 2024.
