In June 2025, Rotana partnered with Stella Hospitality ME to roll out reusable, eco-friendly bottles and sustainable amenities across multiple properties. That same month, the company renewed its partnership with Ecolab and announced that its ongoing collaboration had saved 51 million liters of water, 636,000 kilowatt-hours of energy, 130 metric tons of CO₂, and 24,000 kilograms of plastic each year in the U.A.E alone. Barnes has been CEO since 2024.
