Saeed Jaber Al Kuwaiti assumed his current role in April 2022. SEHA operates over 14 hospitals and healthcare centers with 2,699 beds and manages four hospitals under the Sheikh Khalifa Foundation. In May 2025, SEHA’s Sheikh Khalifa Medical City performed the U.A.E.’s first Venus P-Valve implantation procedure, a catheter-based intervention for congenital heart disease. That month, it also entered a partnership with Cincinnati Children’s pediatric hospital to enhance pediatric care at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Al Kuwaiti previously served as regional CEO for the SEHA Al Ain Region, overseeing Tawam, Al Ain, and Al Wagan hospitals.
