Berro joined Roche in 2003 and became Regional Head in November 2019. In Q1 2025, Roche reported a 4% sales increase in the EMEA region, driven by immunodiagnostics and clinical chemistry. In April 2025, Roche and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center expanded collaboration on noncommunicable diseases, beginning with lung cancer and diabetic macular edema. That same month, Roche supported the launch of Jordan’s first national hemophilia report, developed with Hakeem, the Ministry of Health, and the Royal Medical Services, leveraging national EHR data. Berro is also a member of the Executive Committee of PhRMA Middle East & Africa.
