Futnani assumed her current role in January 2025, after joining the company in 2017. In July 2025, Sanofi secured global first approval in the U.A.E. from the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) for a new therapy to manage immune thrombocytopenia, enabling faster, and improved patient outcomes. In May, Sanofi partnered with the SAED Society to strengthen multiple sclerosis care in Saudi Arabia, and signed a strategic partnership with SSDDS in the same month to support Saudi Arabia’s dermatology ecosystem, building on its patient program serving over 2,000 patients with an 85% treatment compliance rate.
