Boueri assumed his current role in April 2025, having first joined the company in 2022. As part of Olympus’ expansion strategy, he oversaw an MoU with Mouwasat Medical Service in 2024 to deliver endoscopy systems, high-definition imaging solutions, and other minimally invasive tools. In January 2025, Olympus established a new regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia and, between April 2024 and 2025, it launched service and repair centers in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In April 2025, it also supported Tunisia’s healthcare system by handing over advanced medical equipment to 23 hospitals. Boueri previously led regional growth of Zimmer Biomet.
