Al Jaber assumed his current position in 2016. ADNOC is deploying over 200 AI use cases across its downstream and upstream operations, including ENERGYai, the world’s first agentic AI solution for the energy sector, developed in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s AIQ. In May 2025, ADNOC announced multiple agreements with U.S. energy majors that will potentially enable $60 billion of U.S. investments in U.A.E. energy projects. Al Jaber is also the U.A.E. Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Executive Chairman of XRG, Chairman of Masdar, Emirates Development Bank and ALTÉRRA, and also holds several other board positions.
