Al Hadhrami assumed his current role in May 2024. PDO, Oman’s leading oil and gas producer, accounts for over 70% of the country’s crude output and much of its gas supply. A 60%-state-owned company, PDO signed landmark agreements in 2024 for Utility Scale Renewable Energy IPP Projects, including the 100 megawatts North Solar IPP Project and the 200 megawatts Riyah 1 & Riyah 2 Wind Projects, among others. Al Hadhrami also served as Vice Chairman of the Oman Energy Association and led the Oman Logistics Association as Chairman.
