Tarapore has led the company as CEO since 2013. DAE is one of the world’s leading aviation services corporations, serving over 200 airline customers in over 85 countries through two divisions: DAE Capital – a global top-five aircraft lessor with a fleet of Airbus, Boeing, and ATR aircraft valued at $23 billion; and DAE Engineering – the region’s largest independent provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to commercial airlines. As of Q3 2025, DAE reported $1.3 billion in revenue. In May 2025, the company completed the $2 billion acquisition of Nordic Aviation Capital, expanding its combined owned, managed, and committed fleet to approximately 750 aircraft.
