Abdulrahman, who has nearly two decades of experience in the banking industry, joined the bank as Deputy CEO in 2022 and was appointed Group CEO in 2023. In the first nine months of 2025, the bank recorded net profit of $204.8 million and had total assets of $32.8 billion. Doha Bank issued a $500 million Reg S bond in September 2025, with an order book of $1.8 billion, thus reflecting an approximately-four-times oversubscription. In 2025, the bank revamped its card value proposition. Earlier that year, in January, it also launched Tadbeer Mobile, a corporate mobile banking app.
