AlMuhid joined the company as CEO in February 2025. SAMI, a PIF Company, is set to develop the 82,000 square-meter SAMI Land Industrial Complex (SLIC), which would manufacture, test, and maintain up to 1,200 advanced military vehicles annually and set to begin operations in Q4 2025. SAMI also signed agreements with Türkiye-based defense companies Nurol Makina, FNSS Defence Systems, and ASELSAN for localization of weapon turrets and production of armored vehicles. AlMuhid was previously Group CEO and Managing Director of Saudi Chemical Company Holding.
