El Sayed assumed his current position in 2017, having first joined the company in 2002. The handover of JW Marriott Residences to owners between 2024 and 2025 signified ARTIC’s expansion into the luxury living sector, adding to its portfolio of 35 hotels and resorts, and 1,300 branded residences across Doha, London, Istanbul, and in Europe and the U.S. El Sayed is concurrently Chairman of Seldar Holding, an ARTIC subsidiary, an executive board member at BNF Bank and board member of Al Rayyan Education.
