Algoos is a Saudi researcher in semiconductor microchips with a Ph.D. from KAUST in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS). He developed ultra-miniaturized, energy-efficient microchips for real-time concussion detection, which can be embedded in wearables like helmets, headbands, or glasses. Activated only by critical shocks, the chips provide continuous, low-power monitoring to enable early intervention and prevent long-term brain injury. The technology is ready for integration into commercial accessories, and Algoos has secured a U.S. patent application for the invention through the USPTO.
