Shafick joined Silicon Badia in 2022 and now leads its operations in Egypt and North Africa. He has sourced and managed investments including Journify and Roboost, serving on their boards, and co-manages the fund’s involvement in Cartona, Midlyr, Scalvy, and Expensya (acquired by Medius). Previously, Shafick worked as an investment banker, executing M&A transactions worth over $1 billion across multiple sectors before transitioning into venture capital.
