Copiaco specializes in AI applications for healthcare and is currently developing an AI-powered mobile platform for home-based, periodic assessments of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As Principal Investigator, she secured a $322,668 research grant from the Dubai Future Foundation in January 2025 and launched the project in March 2025, leading both research and implementation. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital in the U.A.E., Macquarie University, the University of New South Wales, and the University of Wollongong in Australia.
