Al-Qurashi won the gold medal in the T53 wheelchair 100m race at the Kobe 2024 World Para Athletics Championship, which served as qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games. He went on to win gold again in the men’s T53 100m at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, becoming Saudi Arabia’s second-ever Paralympic gold medallist. He had previously earned a bronze medal in the same event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
