SNB was formed through the 2021 merger of NCB with Samba Financial Group. The bank recorded $322.7 billion in total assets and a net income of $6.7 billion in 2025. In 2025, the bank expanded Sharia-compliant financing including $1.5 billion with real estate fund management firm Areeb Capital, $533.3 million with PIF’s ROSHN Group to finance the acquisition of ROSHN Front, and $816 million with Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Company. In November 2025, SNB also launched a $1.3 billion SME financing portfolio.
