Founded by the late Mohamed Farid Khamis in 1979, Oriental Weavers is one of the world’s largest carpet and rug manufacturers. It has manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Egypt and exports its products to 118 countries. In 2025, it recorded sales volumes of 111.2 million square metres across local and international markets, with revenue reaching $558 million.
