Farooq founded Samana Developers in 2017. In 2025, the company recorded $1.9 billion in gross sales and launched 16 new projects across Dubai and achieved vertical integration by establishing in-house architectural and construction arms. Samana Developers also expanded internationally with the launch of Samana Ocean Views in the Maldives, a collaboration featuring interiors by ELIE SAAB, and opened its first international office in Egypt. In January 2026, the company also signed a land acquisition agreement with Al Zorah City to develop a waterfront destination in Ajman, valued at $735 million.
