The Zubair Corporation began operations in 1967 in the oil extraction and export business. Today, the group operates across nine sectors, including mobility and equipment, energy and natural resources, education, industrial and chemical solutions, consumer goods, real estate, and smart electrification and automation. In 2025, OCS Infotech, the digitization and IT arm of The Zubair Corporation was named an Engage Preferred Services Partner within Fortinet’s Engage Partner Program in 2025. In January 2026, three Hilton-managed hotels opened at the group-owned Barr Al Jissah destination, including the debut of Oman’s first Waldorf Astoria-branded hotel.
