Al-Shwer has led Riyad Capital since 2023, overseeing $26 billion in assets under management and more than $279 billion under custody as of December 2025. In 2025, the firm led a $267 million investment round in Ninja, one of the region’s largest private equity transactions of the year, and issued $1.9 billion in local and international sukuk. Al-Shwer also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Committee at the Saudi Capital Market Authority.
