Al Rushaid has been leading the Asset Management Sector at National Investments Company (NIC) since 2025. NIC had $4.2 billion in assets under management as of 2025, an annual growth of 20%, and has expanded its market-making portfolio to 16 companies. In March 2026, NIC led the IPO of Trolley General Trading Company on Boursa Kuwait, which raised $192 million, was oversubscribed 15 times, and debuted with a market cap of $548 million. Al Rushaid is a board member of Kuwait Pillars Holding Company, Kuwait Clearing House , and AlWafir Marketing Services Co.
