AlAwadhi serves as the Vice Chairman and CEO of InvestGB, the investment arm of Gulf Bank, which was established in 2023. In 2025, InvestGB launched its first money market fund, the Lulwa KD Money Market Fund, based on Islamic Shariah principles, with a variable capital ranging from $6.5 million to a maximum of $1.6 billion. In the same year, the firm expanded its strategic partnership with Investcorp to offer Shariah-compliant U.S. real estate investments and entered a partnership with Arrow Global to provide access to European asset-backed private credit. AlAwadhi has over 20 years of experience and previously held senior roles at Gulf Bank and the Gulf Investment Corporation.
