Al Dhaheri assumed his current position in 2014. In 2025, ExCeL London completed its state-of-the-art expansion, becoming one of the largest fully integrated event venues in Europe. In March 2026, ADNEC Group partenerd with EWEC to Power the ADNEC Centre Al Ain with Clean Energy. In the same month, ADNEC Group partnered with Presight to implement Pioneering AI-Powered Smart Venue Management within its operations. Al Dhaheri is the Chairman of ExCeL London and a board member of Abu Dhabi Airport Company and the Abu Dhabi Chamber.
